It was Hector Guimard’s, the Parisian Art Nouveau master, very first major project in Paris. Built between 1895 and 1898, it’s basically where the Art Nouveau architecture style in the city began. Every detail was design by him, the ironwork, the ceramic tiles, the curves, the door. It’s easy to miss when visiting the 16th arrondissement in Paris.
