Are you relocating these snakes to less populated areas? That was a gorgeous rattler, and I want to think it’s a female since they give birth to live young so they’re typically larger than the boys. Is it possible to be more gentle when handling them with the extended tongs rather than grabbing them in a quick motion? I mainly ask because I know their bones are much smaller and more fragile than other animals so they’re prone to breaking more often and can cause serious damage if handled too roughly.
