yep. cut someone off for this exact reason. talked about herself constantly, and when it wasn't that, it was going on about markets we went to as kids. hell, my dog died (she was 16/17 with dementia, arthritis, cataracts and deaf) and i didn't tell her as i'd have spent more time comforting HER than me who was/is still grieving my dog 🙄
