the cat understands better. daylight savings is dumb. time is made up. his body clock and hunger are real though. be nice and feed this man. shift his feeding schedule to match your human clock a tad more gradually. Don't lecture him about made up human concepts that aren't grounded in reality. he's a cat, I don't think it's possible for them to understand anything like that.
