So my job is no longer offering health insurance for next year because of the rising costs. They are going to give some money for coverage which will not be close to the price.

Now ask how much health insurance premiums were before the ACA and how they ballooned as soon as the government started subsidizing them as with every single other thing that government subsidizes.

Returning to a cash based system and removing insurance from everyday medical care would fix this. Insurance should only be for catastrophic reasons, such as cancer or a serious accident. Simply paying for the care yo7 received directly to the doctor is far less expensive than running anything through your insurance.

The subsidies didn’t ‘expire’. They were cut. Research what happened.

People are complaining about this government ran program, and then think the same government will run universal health care just fine.

I went without health insurance. So far I've saved about 8 grand this year on premiums. If I get hurt, I'm pretty much fucked, but whatever.

The get grown up health insurance or do the math to see if it’s cheaper for cash bases and you put the premiums you are paying into a HSA

I don't have health insurance! I'm not going to have it either cause I do not work. So far, I've been able to pay out of pocket, but if there happens to be major stuff going on that needs medical attention... I'm shit out of luck

With our premiums and deductibles for 2 people we could pay out over $35,000 a year before any medical expenses are covered. 😳😬
