People always think this is back to front, but I prefer doing my eyes first, then tidying up underneath and doing my base over the top. Here’s how I’ve tweaked and refined my base routine… If I’m looking a bit pale, I start with a touch of tan (I’m using the @byterry one), then pop on primer over the top — absolutely loving this one from @milkmakeup, my makeup really stays put on it! For foundation, I’ve been using the @avon_uk serum foundation lately and mixing it with the @sosubysj glow for a dewy finish. I apply it with my all-time fave brush from @maccosmetics. Next is contouring — I only started a couple of years ago, but wow it makes a difference. I’m obsessed with this @tomford palette a makeup artist once used on me (I immediately bought it after!). Blush is a liquid one from @sosubysj — I dab it on my hand first, then apply it with my @donnamaylondon brushes. They’re fab because each one’s labelled with what it’s for (honestly changed the game for me). I finish with a mattifying powder and a touch of highlighter — using a beauty sponge gives the most even finish. For lips, I love a liner and gloss combo — and I’m currently obsessed with the @avon_uk gloss! Any questions, feel free to ask!
