Brian Nichols (33) escaped from Fulton County Courthouse k*lling four people and kidnapping two in one day. On March 11th, 2005 Brian was scheduled to appear at his second trial for the assault and r*pe of his girlfriend. Brian wanted to wear a suit to trial, and was taken to a holding cell with Deputy Cynthia Hall to change. He caught Cynthia off guard by pushing her into the cell across from him and be*t her into a coma. Brian took her gun and keys to get back out into the courthouse. Brian came across two case managers and an attorney, where he proceeded to hold them at gunpoint demanding to know how to get to the judge's chamber. Sergeant Grantly White walked in on the dispute and attempted to disarm Brian but failed. After tying all three victims up, Brian proceeded to his scheduled courtroom where he immediately sh*t Judge Rowland Barnes and court reporter Julie Brandau. As Brian approached an exit door to flee he sh*t Sergeant Hoyt Teasley multiple times before stepping over his body to leave. Brian stole and abandoned several cars throughout the day. Schools were placed on lockdown, the public was notified, and a 60,000 reward was announced for his capture. That night he tried to kidnap a woman walking to her home from the gym. When they arrived the woman’s boyfriend answered the door causing a physical fight between the men. The woman was able to call 911 and once Brian noticed he fled the home. Hours later, Brian sh*t and killed an ICE Officer in his home, stealing his badge, service weapon, and his vehicle. The next day a woman named Ashley Hall, called police stating Brian Nichols was in her apartment and wanted to turn himself in. Ashley told police he held her at gunpoint, forced her to her home, tied her up, and spent the night. Ashley claims she talked to Brian about God throughout the night, gave him drugs, and made him breakfast to try and convince him to surrender. Brian was brought back into custody and was now charged with 54 counts of M*rder, Felony M*rder, Kidnapping, & many other charges. Due to one juror disagreeing with the death penalty, Brian was sentenced to life. #truecrime #crimetok #untoldmysteries #briannichols #crimetiktoker
