It's a good sign that they're looking for advice and looking at $25,000 cars as opposed to something like a $40,000 car, but buying Stuff with that money will have you living comfortably for a good few years, but if you pay off your debts, put away a good emergency fund, get yourself into a position to work and support yourself off your income as cheaply as possible, then put the rest into some safe growing fund for as long as you can get away with, you can feasibly set yourself up for a comfortable rest of your life if you let it grow for a good few years

I’m in the same position, but I’m single. It was inherited from my grandmother, didn’t need to pay inheritance tax given my state. Rn I have it in stocks and HYSA. Also 20k of it is untouchable until I’m in my 70’s for retirement, I inherited my grandmothers financial team as well and they’ve been very transparent
