@zyxwatch: A text you never open can drop the call. One bad text (CVE-2026-58882) can knock cell service down on an unpatched Android—including a call for help. You do not tap it. The phone reads the message itself. About twenty texts and some phones restart until they must be wiped. No real attacks reported yet. The recipe is public. Google’s fix is for Android 14 and newer. Tonight: Settings → System → System update—install it if it’s waiting. Android 12 and 13 are not getting this fix. Do not count on those phones as your only way to call for help. This is Zyx. Orbiting. Stay secure, Earthlings. #ZyxWatch #Android #MobileSecurity #CyberSecurity #SecurityUpdate #TechNews #PhoneSecurity
