I was born in 74. My dad was 22 and my mom was 21 when they had my older brother. I was born 18 months later and my younger brother was born 2 and a half years after me. My parents never spoke to me or my brothers like that. If that was how you were spoken to, I am heartfelt sorry.

Why don’t you ask yourself, why as a grown up still don’t understand and still not capable of excepting that your parents also did this whole parenting thing for the first time, and they are human too. And you were exhausting . They just kept it real. I understood my parents short comings the moment i became a parent myself. Life sometimes just gets too much. Stop blaming and dwelling in the past. Forgive your parents , and spend some time with them until you can. You never know when is going to be the last time.
