@tomtheweatherwizard: ⏰ WHAT DO YOU THINK? SHOULD AMERICA STOP CHANGING THE CLOCKS? 🇺🇸 Twice a year, millions of Americans adjust their clocks. But should we finally put an end to this tradition? This Farmers’ Almanac map illustrates just how divided the debate has become, highlighting different state proposals and positions on permanent daylight saving time versus permanent standard time. 🟦 Some states have no proposal indicated on the map. 🟩 Others are shown favoring permanent daylight saving time, keeping sunsets an hour later during winter. 🟧 California is highlighted for a permanent standard time proposal. 🟨 Arizona and Hawaii already avoid seasonal clock changes, with an exception for the Navajo Nation. And here’s the catch: Federal law currently allows states to adopt permanent standard time, but permanent daylight saving time requires congressional action. So what matters more to you: more daylight after work, earlier winter sunrises, or simply never having to change the clocks again? One hour on the clock. A nationwide debate that just won’t go away. 📍 Map: Farmers’ Almanac | State legislative positions and proposals, not necessarily laws currently in effect. #DaylightSavingTime #TimeChange #FallBack #StandardTime #weathertok
