![Canelo Alvarez isn't ready to close the book on Terence Crawford just yet. Crawford handed Alvarez a unanimous decision defeat last September before announcing his retirement from boxing in December. However, Alvarez still hopes the American will reconsider and give him another opportunity to settle the score. “Let’s hope [Crawford comes out of retirement],” Alvarez told FightHubTV in Spanish following his victory against Christian Mbiili on Saturday. “To be honest, we’d love to have that rematch, as I’ve said. And if not, well, we’ll just carry on with our careers. But hopefully that fight will happen.”](/video/cover/7703474460761918742.webp)
