This braid out is on a straight natural.. meaning she’s worn her hair straight so much that her natural curl pattern is gone. We’ve been on a journey to restore her density, get her hair growing again, and keep the heat far away. Her top goals? Retain length, regain fullness, and grow strong, healthy hair. This set was done on blown-out hair because she needed a trim. If she didn’t, I would have done it on wet hair and honestly, the results are the same when I use Mousse Def Texture Foam by @The Doux Hair Care . The key is drenching each section from scalp to ends, braiding with tension for a solid foundation, and adding a perm rod to the straight ends. All my clients get the orange perm rods .. my preference for this curl size. On day one, I don’t over-separate. This makes the style last longer. And yes… part marks are normal. They fade in a couple of days. The focus here is health and density, not “perfect” hair on day one. Night routine tips: •	Longer hair → pineapple with an oversized satin scarf, then cover with a bonnet. •	Shorter hair → divide into fours with satin scrunchies, loosely wrap down the hair, and cover with a bonnet. •	Every morning → apply a thicker oil or butter down the hair to seal moisture, prevent dryness, and control frizz. FAQ answers: •	How are her roots straight? → Apply mousse root to end, braid with tension, let it set. •	What products did you use? → The one I named, nothing else. •	How many braids? → As many or as few as you like, more braids mean more longevity. •	Do you re-braid at night? → No. This is a set style. Once it’s set, it’s set. Natural hair will never be 100% “perfect” and that’s the beauty of it. If my definition of a straight natural offends you, oh well. I’m here to show my process and give the best results possible without chemicals. No relaxers, no texturizers, ever. 📌 Save this post if you’re recovering from heat damage or want your braid outs to actually last. #NaturalHair #HealthyHairJourney #NaturalHairStyles #HairTransformation #HairCareTips #NaturalHairCare #NaturalHairCommunity #HealthyHairCare #ProtectiveStyles #Braidout #braidoutstyles #heatdamagerecovery #curlrestoration #thedoux
