I have done beard dye on both my eyelashes and brows. Just diff colors. It works great but I had a few times it would get in my eye and burn. I stopped because I was afraid if I kept going I’d go full blind

im in beauty and at least in my class we've been taught not to use brown on lashes because it very rarely ever shows up, and never does on darker hair colours either. So you'll need some black to either make it a darker brown, or just use the black
