@red_headed_mom: Can someone PLEASE tell me if they experience this too?! 😩 Almost EVERY time I use the bathroom, my leg goes completely numb. This time it was my entire LEFT leg. I couldn’t feel it, couldn’t put weight on it, and trying to move it caused this horrible stabbing, tightening sensation. Almost like something was squeezing the life out of my leg while tiny needles were stabbing it. And before anyone says I’m sitting on the toilet too long, I’m NOT. We’re talking 5 minutes MAX. It’s almost like something is compressing a nerve or cutting off circulation, but I genuinely don’t know what’s happening. For context, I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), POTS, MCAS, fibromyalgia, and a laundry list of other comorbidities. I actually recorded this episode because I wanted people to SEE what happens after something as simple as going to the bathroom. Does anyone else experience this? Especially those of you with EDS, POTS, or other neurological/autonomic conditions? Have you figured out what’s causing it? Because something as basic as using the bathroom should NOT leave me unable to walk. 😭 #EhlersDanlosSyndrome #EDS #POTS #MCAS #ChronicIllness
