it just depends really prep wise im all for the new place is way of doing it actually cooking if ik for 110% theres a better way to do that im doin it the better way sometimes kitchens copy eachother but some kitchen have a better routine so if ur able to mix it in with your new job that somewhat has the same stuff on the menu now u can get extra creative cuz you know how to cook the same dish 2 different ways

No always. I did that when I noticed they working incorrectly. Yeah they thought I was an AHole but I wasn’t prepared to lower my standards. So I kept pushing and showing them the correct way. Eventually the owners decided to put me in charge of the kitchen and now they all follow the way I work. 😂

as a chef I dont get pissed when they say it. I allow them to peel 50lbs of potatoes and 50 lbs of trinity(onion bell peppers and celery 😂🤷🏾

If a head chef ask me to do something a certain way, I’ll do it that way. If I think I have a better idea of how to do it more efficiently I’ll talk to chef about it but if they say no they say no. Ultimately I’m not paid to fight over petty things, I’m paid to cook
