i can’t wait for the Eddie and Maddie scenes! Especially her reaction to finding out Buck is in Eddie’s will. I know she should technically already know, but I can see them using it as a little reminder for the general audience of just how important Buck is to Eddie and why the Buddie fandom reads so much into their relationship

i feel like there needs to be angst with the mention of the will. like them arguing about buck being in the will, wether it be buck saying that he doesn’t deserve to be in it because in bucks mind that he thinks that eddie sees him as ‘incapable of parenting theo’. idk what that might lead to but if that could happen it would definitely need to be longer than 1 episode. i need them to emotionally hurt each other to the point where yes, THEY NEED TO TALK ABOUT THEIR RELATIONSHIP BEING FAMILIAL to begin with. the angst i hope lasts longer than the 3 more episodes were getting until the hiatus. i need this to be the plot point for the season. eddie figuring out his sexuality during this and being internally homophobic and all the more angry would be the absolute cherry on top… idk if that makes any sense.

The way Buck could’ve said “yeah, I remember seeing you go through similar struggles with Chris” when Eddie tries to start the conversation of how to establish boundaries with Theo,after the volcano situation. But instead they went with “yeah, I’ve experienced the same struggles alongside you” like they are playing in our faces and it’s insane! I feel like Buck is probably harvesting guilt about not wanting to “replace” Kameron and Connor, but still wanting to support Theo!!

Yes, I am sensing a pattern. Eddie is in the *We category, While Buck is a *We are together but seperate*. Buck doesn't let himself see them as an actual couple.
