I dont know if I agree because it kind of implies premeditation going back years, sometimes decades. ethan had a reputation as a wife guy for like like 10 years, i dont think he did that to cover for cheating he would do 10 years later. men of all kinds cheat and I think its kind of reductive to think of one type as some sort of villian archetype. this is obv not to cover for him, check my page if you doubt that.
