![Twenty-six years later, here's where everyone washed up. Tom Hanks played Leland in Wes Anderson's The Phoenician Scheme in 2025, wrote and performed in his own stage show, This World of Tomorrow, at The Shed in New York that fall, and in 2026 he's back as the voice of Woody in Toy Story 5. Helen Hunt starred in the Starz series Blindspotting from 2021 to 2023 and played a network executive on HBO's Hacks in 2024. And Wilson? An original volleyball from the film sold at Heritage Auctions on December 7, 2024, for $162,500. Not bad for a ball that spent four years in the sun. Here they are, then and now. 🎬 Cast Away 2-Lead + Wilson Timeline Summary (2000 Release vs 2026 Status) • Helen Hunt [Kelly Frears] (Born 1963-06-15) : Age 37 in 2000 ➔ Age 63 in 2026 • Tom Hanks [Chuck Noland] (Born 1956-07-09) : Age 44 in 2000 ➔ Age 70 in 2026 • Wilson [The Volleyball] : Lost at sea in the movie ➔ Sold for $162,500 in 2024](/video/cover/7704129857461996801.webp)
