If you’re ever in Portland, Woodstock cafe is a deaf operated cafe. They also host meet ups for anyone hearing impaired or wants to learn.

Love it! We were at church one Sunday and looked outside the window in the parking lot, there was a large gathering of people. It looked like they were setting up for an event. More people slowly started drifting in. So we went out to take a look at what was going on. However we couldn’t hear anything even as we got closer. We thought their AV might be down. We stopped someone to ask what was going on, and that person started signing. Turns out, it was an event put on by the church deaf group.
