people in shelters are still people. they are allowed preferences and options on the food they eat. I remember the few times I was in a shelter, the food could get absolutely rancid. sometimes it was really good. I was always grateful that there was food. Not every shelter provided some, but it didn't mean I had to enjoy everything they set out, and neither does he.

I donate to our local shelter by making dinners and serving them with my kid. id feel so unappreciated if I saw this, it literally costs me like $500-600 to do. I'm not asking for a thank you, but I'm not entering meals into any competition either. Bummed by this for sure.
