I think what happened is what is normal when we are scared. it explains the increase in speed. as they were plummeting the natural habit is to brace ourselves by pushing downward with our feet and hands. I think the pilot's natural reflex was to push forward with his feet and hands on the throttle. Like when you are in the passenger seat of a car with a driver that is not so good. he pushed forward maxxing the speed.

RIP🥹..According to radar analysis, the jet flew into the core of a powerful storm at 35,000 feet. The pilots reported turbulence and icing conditions. Shortly afterward, the aircraft entered a steep spiral dive and crashed just 76 seconds later. Ice buildup may have affected the aircraft’s stability and control, but the exact cause has not yet been confirmed. The investigation will determine what really happened.
