My sisters still don’t know to this day that I was stealing entire grocery carts of food from the store because I knew my mom wouldn’t be back again. That I learned how to steal and avoid the cops so they could eat for at least 2 weeks til mom got back with the cards. They don’t know that when she got drunk I made sure to stay up so I was the one that caught her attention when it was time for her to beat on someone again. Even all of that wasn’t enough for us to not be separated and I still regret not being old enough to take custody of all 4 of them when they (the state) came to take the youngest 2. It was 9 years ago and I only got to see them this past September and how big they got broke me in a way I didn’t know was possible. Anyway sorry for rambling and thanks for listening.❤️🩹
