Being against some of these are the real strange positions. Universal healthcare? Have you seen how private insurance is denying people life saving care. Education access? That should be a no brainer. Proper early education reduces crime in the long term. Clean energy is also important even if you don't believe in climate change. Have you seen LA in the past and how bad smog used to be? Why would we not want cleaner energy and better energy independence? Wealth tax? I mean yeah makes sense. We already have a progressive tax system in this country for exactly that. Top 1% use a different pay structure to avoid taxes. Additionally they pushed for the current presidential administration that cut a lot of our services to give themselves tax cuts. It makes sense to make them pay more.
