@shaygrounded: Small frequent snacks and meals have been working for me?? Or like I’ll eat half my meal and then come back for the other half. My body and needs are just changing so quickly lol #HealingJourney #healthylifestyle #holisticliving #naturalweightloss #plussizepregnancy
Protien shakes have been helpful so far and I’m at 17 weeks

I’ve been on a tomato, cheese, lettuce, purple onion sandwich kick. It’s been the easiest thing to make when random hunger strikes and I’m getting some veggies in. ❤️

You need to drink a lot more when you’re pregnant. You may not be hungry. You may be thirsty or you may be hungry. Lots of good Whole Foods.🥰

If you like beans maybe try a big batch of cowboy caviar in the fridge. I love being able to just grab a scoop when I'm hungry and I need the fiber while I'm pregnant😅 it's very satiating too.

I eat probably every 2 hours! My snacks range from a core power protein shake, to a homemade adult lunchable (strawberries, almonds, mini Oreo, cheese), and something like a chomps stick! That way snacks are at least a little more satiating

it doesn't end after pregnancy if you breastfeed either. I think the constant hunger is worse imp

I eat every 2 hours. I am 35 weeks tomorrow I am overweight I am I think 341 pounds now I was 345 at the start of pregnancy I lost a good chunk of weight in the first 2 trimesters because I was eating consistent 🤷🏻♀️that’s just my body I have learned before I got pregnant I lost 25 pounds just by eating 3 meals and 2 snacks. I before I got pregnant was working on losing weight and learned I really like protein shakes or bars because I don’t like eating a lot I still have to make myself eat or remind myself my only tell something was different will be that I am nauseous lol so I have those too I also eat things like string cheese and the snack size of pretzels together. I like yogurt as a snack and helps keep things moving for me lol those tend to be my go to snacks though or like any fruit or trail mix is good as a snack etc

GIRL, pregnancy hunger is a whole new beast! I feel for you so much😭 I’m currently 10 months postpartum with my sweet girl and a couple weeks ago I said to my fiancé, “I haven’t been this starving hungry since last pregnancy but I must just be stress eating” ….. found out I’m most definitely pregnant again lol. That hunger takes over everything at times!

I second the thirst! I was also on a weight loss journey when I got pregnant at 275lbs. I was severely sick and went down to 260, but was actually 310 at birth due to fluid retention etc - drinking more water REALLY helped reduce my overeating because I would get sick when I ate every 2 hours! good luck girl, I am currently 18 months pp and at 277 now

I had bariatric surgery and have to eat every two to three hours. It’s sooo hard but if you meal prep and make snacks easy to grab it helps. My go to for breakfast is overnight oats made with protein shake and Greek yogurt sooo filling. Plus the chia seeds keep me regular which is amazing. Babybel cheese and hummus with veggies is so filling too. Good luck you are doing amazing !! I know different form being pregnant but having to eat so often is the same hope this helped a little
