Aang was taught by the masters, korra learned from regular people, just because she can spam the firebending button doesnt mean anything. Aang learned the control and true power behind fire and understands its actual use

The biggest thing I’ve heard she’s a better fire better because she could fly with it when she fought zahire but Anng flew with fire bending with taga on his back wow trying outrun a mountain so wouldn’t you say that’s the greater feat

in the new novel it is confirmed that aang is stronger than tagah even if he fought w j his firebending. tagah w the staff creates an attack w all his power that is completely negated by a firebending move by aang. i think aang takes firebending over korra

People seem to forget that Aang is literally canonically the most powerful firebender in the verse, which is only proven further in the novel when he fights Tagah.

me trying to find his feats that put him above korra. Korra has shown way more skill and power with it than Aang, thats a fact and that "she can't redirect lighting" argument is bs because Aang can't metalbend and that doesn't necessarily makes him a worse earthbending than korra.

aang uses his fire bending to negate ozais fire even with small output (go see their fight)which means they are relative and when you take the statement of aang becoming a better fire bender then ozai that puts him above korra whose master wasn't confident in giving her the master title

The latest book literally proves that Aang is one of the greatest fire benders alive. People need to relaoze the show isn't the obly piece of canon media Aang has.

The real reason why Avatar Aang doesn't need to use fire bending as much as Avatar Korra? Is because Avatar Aang actually thinks during his battles with his opponents. He uses what would work better on a specific opponent. Like when Aang sparred with Toph Befong during her training sessions with him. Toph sees through using Earth bending through seismic waves during battle. So every time during a fight. Like with Toph. He studied her movements and figured out that she sees through seismic waves. And he used his air bending to cover his tracks. So Toph couldn't see him through sesimic waves. That's why she calls him twinkle toes.

She js uses it more so we have more feats. Plus, we see a direct comparison when they use jet propulsion. In the movie when Aang is carrying Tagah, he is heavily struggling to stay in the air while just carrying somebody. Meanwhile, Korra can sustain flight for long periods of time in the Book 3 finale against Zaheer despite the lethal poison coursing through her veins, killing her by the second while also bending other elements. She had a more significant nerf yet could sustain flight while Aang is struggling while js carrying someone. Sure u could argue he was fatigued from climbing but I doubt that fatigue is a greater nerf than literally dying😭

Because she’s primarily using techniques utilized by top tier firebenders such as Azula and Iroh. We don’t know jackshit about Aang’s firebending techniques because he took an oath not to utilize it after burning Katara and barely had time to actually learn it from Zuko because Ozai’s plan.
