In NC a four travel lane plus a center turn lane, only traffic traveling in the bus’s direction must stop. Opposite side can continue.

that depends on the state. In my state a "divide road has to have a fiscal barrier in order for the opposite direction to not have to stop.

Actually, you don’t have to stop when you’re that far over because it’s against the law for children to be running all the way across the street which is why buses are required to stop on both sides. I drove a bus while in college.

And plus that’s a concrete mixer as far as I’m concerned they should be the last person to stop because if that truck stops and that concrete hardens that’s a expensive bill and its own and also the specific routes that they take to prevent them from stopping because of how volatile concrete is

This is NOT true.. Every state is different. In SC it doesn’t matter if it’s a divided highway, there’s a turn lane, or nothing at all. If the road is 4 lanes or wider, the opposite side does NOT stop.
