@reflectwithrana: Navigating Muslim tiktok or Instagram can be terrifying. I'm highly analytical and my critical thinking skills are strong alhamdulallah, but I almost got sucked down a rabbit hole telling me everything is haram. If I didn't have the grounding and background that I have, I could have easily gotten sidetracked. The most important part about Islam to me, is the love for Allah that makes you try and do everything he asks you to. He knows we're flawed as a species. He isn't asking for perfection, He's asking for connection, a heart that remembers Him multiple times a day, effort, repentance for when we fail, and going back to do better. To upgrade our character. That's what matters. I need to remind myself to focus on that and I thought this would help someone else who is navigating Islam or their connection to God. #Muslim #Reverts #Islam #Muslimtiktok #Quran

You addressed a very important topic, subhan Allah , this topic crossed my mind yesterday when i was at work , just for a moment out of any context, and just came up to this now . They way things connect in life sometimes is amazing . Anyways You addressed it very briefly but yeah we lack such a deep knowing in people who speak up .

Assalamu Alaikum (السلام عليكم) sister With all due respect, loving Allah is not just about what we feel in our hearts. It’s also about following what He has commanded us to do.
Allah says in the Quran:
“If you should love Allah, then follow me, so Allah will love you.” (Quran 3:31)
Allah has also given clear guidance about modesty and covering in Quran 24:31.
None of us is perfect, and we all make mistakes. But we shouldn’t dismiss Islamic teachings simply because they may be difficult to follow. True love for Allah means trying our best to obey Him and follow the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
May Allah guide us all and help us become better Muslims. Ameen.
