@lifewith3wolves: Growing up i always stayed after school becuase my mon was always at work. I took all the classes from etiquette classes to guitar lessons, but gardening club, that was always my favourite. I still remember that little garden we planted behind the school and how much I loved those afternoons. those little moments meant more to me than I ever realised. I never thought about how much those afternoons shaped who I would become, my love for gardening, for growing my own food, for cooking from scratch, for creating a home. It all started with tiny experiences just like that. And when we first toured the castle, one of the things I fell in love with right away was the conservatory. I could picture myself spending hours in there, planting, growing and just enjoying something that I’ve loved since I was a kid. It’s funny how life comes full circle. That little girl who stayed after school for gardening club is still very much a part of who I am today. To anyone who teaches, volunteers, or runs after-school programmes for children, thank you. You may never see the impact, but sometimes you plant a seed that grows quietly for years🤍
