Once you get to a certain stage it’s never a holiday. My dad works for a company but runs multiple offices for them. He will make it clear his days off. But clients will still ring him and demand to talk to him otherwise they would pull their accounts.

My boyfriend and I both run our own businesses. We have been planning our holiday next week since JANUARY. We are planning all the back ups so our businesses can run without us being physically present but we both know we will still be doing admin etc while 9 hours ahead on the other side of the world… for the second time running 🤣

100000000%!! the irony is people think we have MORE mental space / freedom bc of owning a business but it couldn’t be further from the truth, it’s the price we pay! Friends and family are the only ones that see it and I think they also pay for it with us bc we can’t always be present with them! But also the price we choose bc we’ve decided it’s worth it! ❤️p.s. literally you and your brand and work ethic are major inspo to me xo
