@saraly734: Hello, hello! It’s Black Rose again! This is a short video about rhyming words with the ending tone in the language of Hmong in the dialect of Mong Leng. It’s going to help you understand and remember the rhymes of the words that have the ending tone that have a special sound to help you read and write in Mong Leng. Please remember that the Mong Leng language is a tonal language. A tone marker appears at the end of the word creating a special sound. In the Hmong writing all words do not write as compound words and the tones, b, g, j, MUST never be used in front of a word at any time that makes the writing unique. So read the terms and the story below to find out what each of the tones sounds made. Tones: b, d, g, j, m, s, v Notes: For the tone “s” is called “cim mus, s” as in White Hmong dialect because in Mong Leng, there’s no word to describe this tone “s”. The tone “d” and “v” sounds are similar, so mostly you will see the “v” used most of the time. The “d” mostly will be used for a word like"nyob ntawd”, it means, it’s there; “ntawd”, there, or nkawd, them, they (two persons only), but the “V) may imply these words also. Ending tone: j Writing Formula B: consonant+vowel+tone= word ij, word Families: 1. chij, flag (ch+i+j= chij) 2. tsij, to stick; a pole into the ground (ts+i+j= tsij) 3. zij, tilted (z+i+j= zij) Ib zaaj keeb kwm tseeb txug tug chij.
