I got a call Friday night unexpectedly from my ex-girlfriend she told me she wanted to see me on Halloween night I got a call around 8:30 telling me to meet her at her house I turned 55 on Tuesday and I will tell you I had the best Halloween night since I was a little kid we laughed we smiled we reminisced then went to bed and I woke up this morning so grateful that I got to spend possibly what could be my last Halloween with somebody that means the world to me. this year I found out I have blood cancer and survived six past strokes so every day is a gift from God
