@resortcouple: Staying in Kona? Skip the resort. Stay here. In our 4 months in Hawaii, we stayed at resorts, a military camp and this condo. They were all great, but the condo felt like home, not a hotel room. It's a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom condo in the heart of Kona, and perfect for a couple. Every morning we walked out to the lanai first thing. The water is about 10 feet below, and you can watch it splash against the lava rocks. Being that close to the waves is hard to beat. Inside it's beachy and so cutely decorated. We had the whole place to ourselves, with a full kitchen, a full size washer and dryer, and beach gear to use at the many beaches nearby. The pool looks out over the ocean too, and every evening we watched the Hawaii sunset from the lanai. We didn't want to leave.
