It’s been almost 3 years and here’s what I understood. He didn’t loved me, he loved the access to me, all I did for him, how I made him feel, you don’t hurt someone you love that way. Second, he was not sorry because he hurt me but because I discovered his lie. Third thing is you will never have a logic answer, it doesn’t exist and you have to live with that and move on. Now, all you can do is feel, cry all your dreams he broke. Right now there’s no lesson, no bright side, it comes with time. I’m still working on me, I don’t think I can trust someone again the same way and I hate it and makes me so angry. Anyway, hopefully you don’t have a baby with that person and you can erase him from your life.
