@news.studio2: Britt Stewart Addresses Rumors She’s Leaving DWTS After Back-to-Back Early Eliminations Dancing with the Stars pro Britt Stewart is responding to talk about her future on the show. Stewart, 37, spoke to Cosmopolitan in an interview published Friday, Oct. 30. She was reacting to a report from The Sun, which claimed she was thinking about leaving after her back-to-back early eliminations. Stewart is the first and only Black female pro on the show. She joined the troupe in 2016 and became a pro in 2020. Her partners have often left before the semifinals. This season, she was paired with Taylor Hanson. They were voted off in week three, on Yacht Rock Night. Stewart said the report made her think of a young fan. A little girl came up to her at the show. The girl’s mom told her, “You being in the ballroom means so much for us and for my little girl.” “That girl would be so disappointed in me if I don’t accomplish what I want to accomplish,” Stewart said. “I know I haven’t accomplished all that I could.” Some fans have called for her to get a “ringer” with dance experience. Stewart said she doesn’t think there is a ringer anymore. She said she prefers a partner “who wants to be there and who can go deep.” She also praised Hanson’s work ethic. She said he was just starting to enjoy the show when they were eliminated. Do you want to see Britt go deeper in the competition? #brittstewart #DWTs #dancingwiththestars #taylorhanson #ballroom
