@singing_nurse_12: Update on Landon ❤️🙏 Since Landon's motorcycle accident on October 22, he has been fighting through unimaginable injuries. He suffered multiple broken bones, including both femurs, both arms, and his pelvis. He also developed cerebral fat embolism syndrome, which caused multiple strokes and widespread injury to his brain. Landon has undergone two surgeries so far, with more major surgeries scheduled to repair his pelvis and left femur starting tomorrow (11/2). Neurologically, he is still not responding to commands or showing purposeful movements. He does open his eyes, but we are still waiting and praying for signs of meaningful neurological recovery. One encouraging update is that he did very well during a spontaneous breathing trial, showing that he can initiate breaths on his own. He is still on the ventilator, though, and continues to battle high fevers while doctors investigate a possible infection. We are taking everything one day at a time. There are still so many unknowns, and the road ahead is incredibly difficult. We are asking for your help.
