Most likely pilot error unfortunately. LJ60's are very susceptible to Mach tuck phenomenon which this is what I bet happened. Airspeed limit exceeded too much that wings couldn't keep up with airflow and caused airflow disruption as co-efficient of lift specially if dew point and temperature caused leading edge icing and changed the wings shape. Very bad position to be in! May all people on board Rest in Peace. 🫡🙏🏼

There was a supercell storm forming pulling up warmer humid air very rapidly, Usually at that height of flight it’s too cold for the air to hold moisture but with the storm pulling up humid air, the pilot tried to avoid the storm, but ice formed on the aircraft too quickly. You can hear the pilot asking for permission to change course and air traffic acknowledged.
