I quit. No back up plan but to go home and hoped for the best. Well, it’s been 8months and I did end up spending all I had left, but here’s the catch. I was able to spend time with ME eval what I value- and came a clarity, a very defined vision and even another level of maturity to accept my flaws and ambition. I’m going up onto my next chapter.

Gave notice on March 30th. By June 1st I had a better paying and better mental health job. I’m 54 and it was scary but the peace I felt in mid March when I made the decision was all I needed.

I loved my job. I loved my work. then the company was bought and the new owners played by different rules and every day I would wake up and start my day hating going to work. It started affecting my health. Best decision you can make is to change gears to shift jobs to find something that gives you some kind of peace because life is too short to spend 40 +hours a week miserable

I got fired over 2 weeks ago from some where I wanted to quit every 10mins. I poured my life into that job for over 12 years. Now I almost stress free. My phone is quite for the first in forever. I needed this. I need my life to do a reset to something better and healthier for me.

I took that lady out back and told her I was crawling out of my skin, and I wasn't hanging out there anymore. Best decision I ever made. I don't care about the fact that I was making more than I ever had in my life. It was physically and mentally costing too much.

So very true!!! First you check out emotionally & you dread going in to work until you can’t anymore!!! God will make you uncomfortable until you decide to leave for something better!!! In the end always choose yourself because they will replace you quickly if you get sick, it’s just money for them.

Literally had to go to therapy to get comfortable with leaving my toxic job because it literally saved me after I got laid off during covid. I had a better job lined up and took finally quit. 2 months later the better job laid me off 😂
