This is so clearly a jet & it’s absolutely tragic to hear that sweet sister’s voice be in such fear, I can only pray for their families peace. So awful but I think how desensitized people are this is just so shocking to see

This type Lear jet has a reputation of the tail coming off in an over speed event. Which is what happened to this plane. Likely doe to ice.

Where is the NTSB?? TSA? And the speed of the release for the cockpit voice was rapid, I’ve never seen this before ever. Also, the speed from 35,000 to zero in 60 seconds was blazing.

Its a co pilot to dispatch on a private jet, its not commercial. Thats why the recording was posted. Most private aviation jets do not carry black boxes. And what airfield where they talking too?

all I know is I was scrolling tiky tok when it happened. and all few people jumped on live to show what was happening. and thy said they saw no plane, and the crater innthe ground was massive. idk

Pilot here, from what I heard on the ATC recording, visible precipitation and the outside temp was -45°F. I would speculate that chances are the wings were overloaded with ice buildup that the anti-ice system couldn’t handle, causing the aircraft to stall. Apparently it became unrecoverable, and we saw the results.
