There is a difference between be protected and being sheltered. In my humble experience we are protected in the ways that we need but we can’t be sheltered from everything. Butterflies have to struggle their way out of the cocoon or their wings aren’t strong enough to fly. 🫶🏼

All of our ancestors will let us skin our knees so to speak. Yes, when we bind ourselves to something making agreements, that's ours to handle. Exactly for the reasons you stated. Absolutely debrief them on what's going on and what you want our intended to happen. Then they understand and can sometimes guide you.
