@sweetnsouthernally: 🐔😂 SUNDAY EVENING CHICKEN COOP UPDATE! Y’all, I know it doesn’t LOOK like we got much done this weekend, but we actually made some BIG progress! Life threw us a few curveballs, and this chicken coop project has been dragging on longer than a Walmart checkout line on Saturday, but we’re BACK ON TRACK! 🙌🏼 We got all the window frames inserted, doors hung, hardware mounted, and all the plywood up on the inside! Now we’ve just got to paint, put up the hardware cloth, build an inside wall to separate the chicken area from the storage area, and finish up those little details. Y’all, we can almost see the finish line! Somebody pinch me! 😂 And bless my husband’s heart. He’s put up with SO MUCH during this adventure. I’ll say, “Honey, I want chicken wallpaper!” and he just rolls his eyes and keeps right on building. Then I come up with another idea, and he just shakes his head and goes along with it. Marriage is all about compromise, y’all. I get to decorate, and he gets to pretend he didn’t hear half of what I said! 🤣❤️ Seriously, he’s done an AMAZING job, and I’m thankful he entertains all my shenanigans! For those who’ve asked, our plans came from Bejeweled Chicken Coop here on TikTok and over on Etsy. Follow along for our chicken coop chronicles! At this rate, the chickens might just get their Christmas present on time! 🎄🐓😂 #ChickenCoop #ChickenCoopChronicles #BackyardChickens #DIYChickenCoop #CountryLiving
