@intrestingfactsanfind: Yes, this is a real initiative! Visit Finland has launched a unique campaign called the "Finnish Dinner Date", inviting 16 single international foreigners on an all-expenses-covered trip scheduled for February 2027. However, the person shown in the image is Alexander Stubb, the President of Finland, speaking at the United Nations. While the program itself is genuine, it was created by the country's national tourism board rather than announced directly by the president. What is Included? • Fully Covered Travel: Round-trip flights to Finland. • Accommodation & Meals: Hotel stays, curated cultural experiences, and daily dining. • The Main Event: A hosted four-day itinerary that culminates in a unique group blind date experience with local Finnish singles in either Helsinki or Tampere. How to Apply Applications are managed by the official tourism agency through a social media contest: 1. Record a Video: Create a short clip in English answering the question: "What would you serve on a dinner date, and why?" 2. Post Publicly: Upload the video to Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube using the hashtag #FinnishDinnerDate and tag the official account (e.g., @ourfinland on Instagram). 3. Submit the Form: Fill out the online application link found directly on the official Visit Finland Website. Note: The official deadline to finalize submissions for this campaign is November 10, 2026
