Unfortunately, your take is not nuanced. A (physically) beautiful person can be mistreated simply because they are beautiful (jealousy); they can also be mistreated because of their bad personality (personality>beauty) or regardless of them having a bad personality people will treat them well because they are beautiful (beauty>personality). So we have three distinct outcomes related to beauty. Why? Because we’re all different. Some people are insecure, others care about looks only others care about personality, and based on their values they will treat beautiful people differently. Also, as much as you want to ignore it there’s more people who are miserable and will hate a pretty person for their existence, otherwise people wouldn’t cheer when a pretty woman gets “humbled”. Anyway, a perspective to be considered.

And it’s true. Like genuinely jealousy kills, it’s not that I’m more beautiful, I’m perceived more beautiful in their eyes. It’s really easy to make friends, but jealousy absolutely can get in the way and I’m tired of it not being clocked and called out.

I made a comment a while back that being a non conventionally attractive woman can be hard and isolating because you're either ignored or treated poorly and my replies had a bunch of women saying it's so much harder being pretty. just no.im sure the unwanted attention sucks but it's just not the same
