My ex husband watched me vacuum right after I got home from a 26 hour labor and emergency c-section. He said “nobody cares if the floor is clean” … I did! I’m 6 months postpartum, and my husband still cooks for me every single day and always asks what I’m craving. He changes my postpartum pads, takes the baby as soon as he gets home from work so I can shower and get some sleep, and he still does all of this to this day. He takes me on dates, plans everything, constantly looks out for me and our baby girl, and is just so present in every way. I don’t think I’ll ever stop appreciating the way he loves and takes care of us. I love him so much. 🖤
