The thing about changing the word is that it isn’t the word itself that’s the problem, but what it’s tied to. Let’s say everyone agrees to change the word from “waifu” to “Godzilla” in time, the term “Godzilla” will become just as bad as “waifu” because like I said earlier. It isn’t the word, it’s what it’s tied to. Either we change the meaning or we remove the term altogether.
