Publix in my state can transfer my adhd meds between pharmacies so if one doesn’t have it I can get it at another. Walgreens and CVS never did that. You can also pick it up with your id. My friend picked mine up for me before.

The slow release one is super popular because kids in school. For that reason alone I switched to a quick release that I break up in three parts during the day.

I've been doing mail order for my pharmacy for YEARS. I do not understand why more people don't utilize that option when it's available... I only ever have to go to a physical pharmacy when I'm getting medication requiring a physical signature from the doctor, which is very rare. It's also easier because I live in a rural pharmacy "desert." 25 miles to the nearest pharmacy...

My husband has used his ID to pick up my prescription. See if they will allow you to do that as well. Makes my life easier he always remembers his ID.

Get a paper Rx if at all possible, you can try other pharmacies, it’s hard, if not impossible to electronically transfer Rx for addrerall.

They won’t always tell you over the phone if they have a controlled medication. You may have to go in to ask.
