“You don’t have a party” this! As a voting member of my Democratic Town Committee and a State Convention Delegate, we don’t get to endorse across party lines AND stay in the party. It’s disqualifying. I can vote for whoever I want in the voting booth, but if I were to endorse across party lines in a partisan election, I could also be kicked out of the party. I’m a much smaller fish, so the worst that would probably happen would be losing my spot on my town committee, but that’s the way it goes.
