![Random directions [5] In this version of the series, the turned-out direction does not determine the direction of hatching, but instead the direction of a gradient. This gradient was applied using the dotting tecnique. This experiment had two variables: The positioning of the lines dividing the total area into many small areas and the direction of the gradient within the areas. Both variables were determined with the same random generation - the spinning of a coin. A role that plays a crucial role in the random determination of the lines is the place where one turns the coin. Even though the coin moves in an undetermined direction during the spinning, it is still one of the factors that you can influence. Predetermined points for spinning could avoid this influencing factor and leave the result almost exclusively to chance.](/video/cover/7623494565432921366.webp)
