I never had a career.i walk by faith blindly i dont know where he is leading me .i spend a lot of time with him and I can say he has blessed me with so much and I still feel and think why is my life uncertain job wise .he has provided for me and I get random jobs some shape or form and help a lot of others and carried a lot of burdens .i can say im very happy and grateful I do get scared at times but I know he won’t let me drown

Actually God does lead you and tell you what the plans he has for you. God is a God that stays quiet. He WANTS his children to know the plans he has for them. You’re not really correct about this. Jeremiah 29:11 tells us he has a plan for us. God can absolutely block and stop a path from being taken if he doesn’t want you to be there. God told Joshua about building the wall of Jericho. God told Moses to free his people. God told Mary that she will carry and give birth to baby Jesus. If YOU think that God doesn’t tell people about the plans he has for them. YOUR listening to someone who is NOT God.

That’s something I had to learn too, to stop being so afraid of “making the wrong move” til God taught me that I wouldn’t even know if I’m making the wrong move if I don’t make ANY move, and that I should always have faith that im making the right one and even if I didn’t, that He’d still redirect my path

Hey queen! While I understand what you are trying to say, I don’t believe the first thing you said is always true. There are several instances in the Bible where God has told people exactly where to go and what to do. If you read 1 Kings 19, you’ll see how God sent an angel to Elijah who told him what to do and then God himself told him to go on a mountain. Later you’ll read that God’s voice is a gentle whisper, so sometimes while it may seem that he isn’t telling us what to do, we may just need to tune out the noise. Also, I believe psalms 32:8 touches on this as well. It’s worth checking out and I always suggest using Bible to support Bible arguments!

you have no idea how impactful this has been to me. i am in the same situation. the analogy with the doors is exactly what i’ve experienced. i knocked on door B (which ironically is a career) and it opened so easily, one knock and it opened wide. Glory to God, now and Forever.

I disagree. Most characters in the Bible were going to be what God said they were going to be regardless. Especially when God told David he will be king. I don’t think Jeremiah would have chose to be a weeping prophet either

This is so good & true! That’s why this verse says He is a light for my path just enough light to help guide us to make sure we are going the correct way. I’ve definitely struggled with just saying God just show it all to me what I’m supposed to do. I believe then we wouldn’t be living by faith. Thank you for sharing this❤️
