@zysodeep: One of the reasons we don’t talk much anymore, is because I know that he’s never understood why I needed the space and time. He tries all he might, but his idea of love is rooted in sacrifice and mine is rooted in growth. It got to a place where it felt like I understood the struggle isn’t the only way to grow. And we could have it easier. But my love was settled in the struggle being essential to the success. That it meant we were committed. But for me, even though you sacrifice a lot to grow, in the end you should have more than what you sacrificed. This is what I imagined he’d say to me, and I understand it. I just hope he knows, it wasn’t that I couldn’t do the hard— I just didn’t want hard all the time for us anymore. #breakup #poetry
